A downloadable game for macOS

This game was submited  for the Implementation Tournament by Airwiggles in October 2024. The entire project was built in Unreal Engine using MetaSound, relying solely on real-time synthesis, with no audio files. The design features both adaptive music and reactive sound effects, dynamically responding to in-game events and parameters. 

Key sound design techniques include: 

Shepard Effect: Crafting a continuous auditory illusion of ascending or descending tones. 

Granular Delay: Manipulating sound through grains and delays to create rich, textured effects. 

Subtractive Synthesis: Shaping sound by filtering frequencies from complex waveforms. 

FM Synthesis: Using frequency modulation to produce intricate and evolving tones.
